I provide therapy for individuals, couples and families. I specialize in Emotionally Focused Therapy, where I help my clients cope better with the challenges they are facing. Recent scientific research in Neurobilology has provided us with extensive knowledge about the biology of our emotions. We know more about the physiology of our feelings and what can we do to alleviate the effects of stress and distress on our well-being. In therapy I utilize this knowledge to help my clients understand themselves better, to gain better control over their reactions such as anger or withdrawal, and to gradually improve their responses to stressors in their relationships, at work, etc. I integrate mindfulness methods to provide my clients with tools for coping more effectively with stress, anxiety, anger and distress.
